It’s been about a year since I relocated to the East Bay Area, California, just ahead of the global COVID-19 pandemic. I am from San Jose, but moved away in 1997, spending time in Portland, Maui and Oahu. It feels good to be back in the Bay Area, same-but-different, as I explore my new home in the East Bay.
These past few months of experiencing “winter” have been very internal, an unusually long Scorpio season, exacerbated by the sameness of COVID life. Recently, I am feeling the coming of Spring, with it’s lengthening days, blooming flowers and promise of renewal.
