My husband created a sourdough starter using the guidance from Tara Jensen @bakerhands, King Arthur and his own intuition. Between yeast shortages and a relocation to the Bay Area, sourdough on demand seemed like a good idea.
After weeks of patience, we were rewarded with a beautiful starter, which has made focaccia, whole wheat bread, bagels and crackers.
